Client: A major chemical and drugs manufacturing company with high end Research and Development capability in the country with operations spanning across the country. Client is extensively dependent on IT Infrastructure for all manufacturing and decision making processes. Our clients are highly committed to quality and hence the need for quality and dependable IT availability. The client IT environment consists of Windows servers, Cisco Network and security solutions, NIPS, HIPS, Web intrusion protection, Hard disk encryption and Anti virus tools.
Challenges
The client felt the need to have a committed and accountable support provider to support their IT infrastructure and decided for an out source model for monitoring and managing the IT Infrastructure. The major challenge was adaptability to the IT environment for non IT users. Being a manufacturing and R&D environment the focus is to ensure high level of confidentiality, security and availability of all IT resources for their core business function.
The major tasks are,
1 Implement, monitor and manage Server Administration, Network Management and Information Security areas.
2 Quality of the services to meet the demands of the client.
Solutions
The first and foremost challenge in hand, is to gain the client confidence of the client that Precision Techserve can handle the challenge. Precision Techserve performed a meticulous product analysis to suit the client IT environment, designed and deployed the Network and Information Security Services. Having deployed the solutions, Precision Techserve monitors and manages the IT infrastructure for their Server, Network and Information Security functions. Precision Techserve remotely monitors the entire Network infrastructure of the client for any threats/traps, performance, etc and also support the client infrastructure with Onsite Administrators to ensure availability of Server, Network and protect from Venerable threats from Anti Virus, HIS, WIS etc.

Precision Techserve has successfully implemented the solutions and managing the IT infrastructure to meet the client delivery requirements. Precision Techserve supports the clients in implementing Security Policy initiatives for BS7799 certification.
