Case Study - CCS :: Addison & Co Limited
Requirement
Addison which is part of the Amalgamation Group of Companies wanted to connect all their Branch offices, Depots and retailers across India to be connected to their Data Centre at Eranakulam. They are to use critical applications like ERP, Email and Voice across this network which needed to be provided with redundancy for 24 x 7 operations.
They had 4 Regional Distribution Network centres at Cochin, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi from which they would connect to their respective branch offices, depots and retails.
Precision offering
We had proposed the connectivity as per the Schematic layout shown below. We had provided hybrid connectivity using both Leased line and VSAT options with ISDN dial-up as back-up. This provided 99.99% uptime of the network and also ensured application availability across the network 24 x 7.
We designed the entire network with Cisco routers, providing Cisco 3745 series router at the Regional Network Distribution centres and Cisco 1721 routers at the edge.
